Become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

Certified Clinical Medical Assistants are essential team members at hospitals, urgent care facilities, doctors offices, and diagnostic laboratories. They are responsible for the following duties:

  • Drawing blood from patients

  • Performing EKGs

  • Evaluating patients’ ability to withstand procedures

  • Performing basic point of care testing such as blood glucose levels

  • Preparing lab specimens for testing

  • Verifying patient or donor identity and answering calls

  • Updating electronic billing records

As advancements in medical technology rise, more employers are requiring national certification in the medical assisting field each year.

9:30AM- 12:30PM

  • April Dates: 4/5th- 4/26th​

  • May Dates: 10th- 31st

​

NATIONAL CERTIFICATION IS INCLUDED AND WILL BE TAKEN ON THE FINAL DAY OF CLASS.
